What Causes A Pulling Sensation Under Rib Cage When On Thyroid Medication?

I take medicine for my thyroid and after I take the medication I feel some pulling feeling under my rib cage right around my heart and I also get real hot and I usually feel like I don t have any strength. I did go to hospital for this and the doctors had me omitted and they did ultra sounds on my heart and gave me a stress test and all came back normal and they told me that it sounds like I having gas build up and they told me to take something to release gas, needless to say I do and it does not go away and I am on the third kind of medication over the counter gas relief and it does not work and I am tired of asking doctors because they make me feel like it is in my head of wondering if it is from my thyroid or something else I don t know but I am trying to nail it down.

Always mention age,sex,weight,height.
Do not worry.
Get blood test for T S H .
Normal T S H is 0.4 to 4.6 (varies from lab. to lab.)maintain at 2.5 to 3 .
If T S H is normal ,do not think about thyroid.
Take second opinion better from Gastro enterologist for your gas problem.
Take Ant Acid & Enzyme preparation.
Doctor may perform Gastric Endoscopy to rule out gastric ulcer & may start pantaprazole for some period.
Avoid alcohol,smoking,cola,coffee,junk food.
Take fresh fruits.
Exercise regularly.
