What Causes A Popping Sensation In The Feet Followed By Pain?

I was playing basketball last night and heard a pop on top of my foot. The pain immediately registered underneath my big toe into the middle of my foot.RT SIDE. I CAN WIGGLE ALL MY TOES AND MOVE MY FOOT STILL BIT THE PAIN IS AT A 9 OUT OF 10. What might of happened?.

The pain is just because of the sprain produced on the muscles and ligaments from trauma. If there is no mobility problem then you are fine. You just need to have a pain killer and bed rest for few days.
