What Causes A Pink Spot On The Vagina During Intercourse?

Hi I have a curious question. A week before my period I notice when me and my boyfriend have intercourse I go to pee and wipe and there s a tiny tiny barely spot of pinkish and 1 drop of blood and that s it . Any other time during the month this never happens but I noticed it s the second month in a row it has been doing it only before I start my period. Any thoughts to what might be going on?

Hi I think you can be having some vaginal infection. Get a pelvic examination done by a gynecologist to rule out any cervical pathology also. You may need some antibiotic and antifungal drugs orally as well as vaginal to treat the vaginal infection. It can be due to some hormonal imbalances also. Get a thyroid profile and prolactin level and a ultrasound done to see uterus and ovaries. Hope it helps.
