What Causes A Painless Lump On The Testicles?

I noticed awhile back (unsure of the time frame) a lump on my left testicle, it felt more like a skin flap because it was able to be shifted slightly yet it was attached to the testicle. I let it go based on things i had read online, thought nothing of it, the sites claimed it would go away. Its still there, it hasnt moved at all, it doesnt give any discomfort or pain, its just there. Tonight i was doing a check, and found a similar lump on my right testicle, it was not there last night. This lump is not like the one on the left, this lump is hard, and when I press my testicle against the wall of my scrotum, the lump looks white through the thin layer of skin. Its hard, if i try and squeeze it, it hurts slightly, but that could just be from squeezing the testicle, I am unsure. Any advice or answers as to what this is would be very helpful. I am 28 years old, 3 years ago I had a kidney stone the size of a small orange removed through my back, during that time I had a UTI at one point, but it was cured. Just trying to give alittle medical background. I have not been sexually active in 4 years, so I do not believe it to be an STD, since i have been checked more than once in that time frame.

Hi.
Thanks for your query and an elucidate history.
Noted that you are 28 years old and not sexually active for 4 years.
You have a specific history of lump on the testicles.
These are most probably due to cyst of the epididymis or a spermatocele as it occurs in some people.
To confirm you need to undergo an ultrasonography and color doppler examination, clinical examination by an Urologist and treatment as per the cause.
It may be worth wait and watch policy in some cases if you are not married or yet to have kids.
Do not fondle too much.
