Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
What Causes A Painful Spot Above Left Eyebrow And Itchy Bump On Lip?
What does it mean when the spot above your left eyebrow starts to hurt and the pains been inconsistent for three days? Unrelated symptoms, I ve had a dry cough for two weeks that s starting to disappear then the pain in my head started. Also today a bump appeared on my lip no itch irritation just mild burn when something touches it. Are they all unrelated or is there a possibility of something else?
As per my clinical experience, the spot is painful and that means the presence of underlying inflammation via bacterial or viral infection most likely. In my clinic after thorough clinical examination, I do recommend anti-inflammatory medicines with proteolytic enzymes, antibiotics as cephalosporin or azithromycin, antihistamine as cetirizine or diphenhdramine ciprofloxacin or moxifloxacin eye drops to prevent secondary conjuctivitis and supportive care.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
