Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
On the inside of my right wrist, there is a lump on my wrist. Follow the pinkie and ring finger down to the wrist, and just as the hand meets the wrist this lump is right there. It is more oblong than just a circular knot. Very painful and stays swollen...... Sorry, I just saw where I have to pay for the answer, I m asking you because I can t afford to go to A Dr. Sorry for the bother
Hello Your description makes me lead to believe you have a ganglioncyst. It is a benign growth that sometimes goes away on its own, but it can be quite painful. Anecdotal evidence describes the cyst becoming smaller if you apply pressure as with a heavy book. Otherwise, the cyst can be drained or excised by a surgeon. Best regards
