Hi Dear ,

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. The painful lump on the neck below the earlobe you mention in your query can occur due to many reasons like due to parotid gland swelling. The symptoms can also occur due to lymphadenopathy or due to local skin infection. I would suggest you to take a combination of Antibiotics/ antihistaminics. Apply Voltaren Gel locally.Apply warm compresses on lump and take ibuprofen or acetaminophen for pain . Take Tab Zincovit to fasten the healing. Symptoms will resolve in one week. If symptoms keeps on persisting visit ENT specialist once and get it examined. Once a proper diagnosis have been made, start treatment accordingly. Doctor may also refer you to dermatologist.

Hope your concern has been resolved.
