General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

* As per the narration and my clinical experience co relation, the current condition does not seem any concern with past surgery of femur fracture.
* There is possibility of soft tissue lesion (as sebaceous cyst/boil) with secondary infection.
* If you can provide a photo picture of the lump, I can guide further.

Till that time, an analgesic intake of tablet Ibuprofen 3 times a day after meals will help great.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
