What Causes A Painful Lump On The Armpit?

Hi, its probably nothing but a few days ago I noticed a pea size lump under right armpit,it s not sore or movable and it doesn t look like there is a spot there either,feel silly bothering the doctor as I feel ok and its such a tiny pea thanks for listening Jeannie

dear patient. i am glad you asked the question.
the most important causes for your lump may be 1. just a harmless growth of lymph node,2.allergic reaction to some deodarant, 3.can be an indicator for some form of cancer in the breast.
i advice you to do a complete self breast examination in both breasts and if you feel any lump,then i advice you to contact a general surgeon to get a biopsy done.This is all for precaution,so no need to be afraid.
