Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Also, I ve just noticed a large lump in my right breast. It is hot and painful to touch. I didn t have it yesterday. I was seen in the ER yesterday with a diagnosis of Acute Sciatica and have three RX s for it. That pain is quite severe. Unfortunately the pain med. is making me sick so I ve had to resort to OTC pain med., which is of minimal help.
Hello dear I understand your concern Breast lump could be due to abscess formation, haematoma, cyst, mastitis. I would suggest to consult the general surgeon and undergo examination and USg scan and USG guided FNAC if needed. Specific treatment will depend on the cause. Meanwhile take analgesic and anti inflammatory drug Trdmadol can be useful for sever pain (prescription is require) Apply cold pack Wear full padded supportive bra So better to consult the general surgeon and take specific treatment according to cause. Hope this may help you
Contact further if follow up needed. Best regards Dr. Sagar
