What Causes A Painful Lump At The Back Of My Head?

i woke up with a sore lump that is raised on the back of my head near my neck hairline and it hurts even when im not touching it. i cant see the mark due to my hair being in the way. was i bitten by a spider? im very emotional all of a sudden, not sure if it is just because im scared or what. it also takes me a minute to actually focus on things and i feel at times like i am going to pass out.

Welcome to health care magic.

1.The possible cause could be infective aetiology - infected hair follicle with collection of pus within.
2.Dont have to worry much and it will no make you pass out. relax.
3.In this case as a remedy - maintain local hygiene, clean the area with antiseptic liquid. Do not squeeze or scratch the area / lump as it will complicate.
4.And a course of antibiotic will help in this case.
5.Get an appointment and let get examined and medication as needed. Good luck.

Hope i have answered your query.
