What Causes A Painful Burning Sensation In The Upper Legs While On Fluconazole?

I Have taken about 6 or 7 fluconazole tablets in the last 4 weeks. My upper legs are very painful and its a feeling of burning as well as within the private area. My doctor says I don t have a yeast infection so I may have been treating the burning feeling as yeast. Can this come from too many fluconazole tablets.?

Hello,
This is not a common side effect of the fluconazole but I suggest that you stop taking it and see if the problem goes away. If you do not have a yeast infection then you should not need the fluconazole.
