What Causes A Painful Bump With Pus Discharge In The Chest?
hello.I have bump inside of the skin on my chest. when I squeeze it come out smelly yellow/white stuff. now I notice it getting bigger and impossible to squeeze. painful. can you plse tell me what it might be and there anything I can do to get rid of that. thank you.
Hi. I have gone through your query and I can understand your concerns. Based on your clinical history you are most probably having some kind of abscess in your chest. It is nothing but a collection of pus and you don't to worry regarding this. The best treatment for your condition is incision and drainage means making a small incision and drain the pus and all debris. You can consult a general practitioner and he will easily do it.You have to take short course antibiotics,I suggest amoxclav twice a day for five days.If you have pain you can take simple analgesics like ibuprufen or aspirin. Please check your blood sugar to rule out diabetes if you have recurrent abscesses.
Hope this information helps. With regards. Dr.Shinas Husain
