What Causes A Numb Lump On The Back Of Leg?

I have what looks like a golf ball size lump on the back of my leg where it bends. I was kneeling down and stood up quickly and felt a runner type sensation and although it doesn t hurt a lot, my leg feels sort of a numbing sensation. Is this likely to be a torn hamstring tendon??

HI
Well come to HCM
I really appreciate your concern, this could be popliteal cyst and this need to be ruled out first if this is the same then it could be surgical condition, if it is not then this could be lipoma or lymph node in either case this is nothing to worry, take care and have a nice day.
