Hello,

It seems that your preauricular lymph node is infected. Do not try to open or break it by yourself. It will make it worse.

You need to do an antibiotic course to combat the infection. Take Cefixime 200 mg (Topcef) twice a day for 5 days. Combine it with Ranitidine 150 mg (Zinetac) twice a day to prevent heartburn and acidity.

If it does not resolve in 3 days or you not find relief in symptoms, then you should consult a physician for physical examination.

I hope this information helps. Thank you for choosing HealthcareMagic.

Best,
Dr. Viraj Shah
