What Causes A Lump At The Injection Site?

My baby is 6 week old she had a bcg jab when she was born, ive just noticed that the lump where shes had her injection is quite swollen and feels like a blister that could pop any time. Also i can see a yellowish substance in the middle of the blister. Is this normal?

Hi
Thank you for asking HCM
I have gone through your query. It is usual to have a swelling at BCG injection site.It will disappear in 3-4 weeks time.It will develop into sore often with pus that you see in your baby's case also as a yellowish substance.Later on scar formation happens at the site.If you find anything trouble some then consult your pediatrician and confirm.Hope this may help you.
Let me know if you have any further query.
I find this answer helpful
