What Causes A Lump And Intermittent Pain On The Left Ear?

I have noticed red inflamed anti helix part on my left ear and lately over a period of maybe six weeks , have had very infrequent sharp pain in my ear that may only last a few seconds , but has happened multiple times - only noticed the lump today , the pain has felt like more inside of ear not exterior

I have read your query and here is my advise.

* Inside pain with external swelling can be due to otitis media with
secondary enlargement of cervical lymph nodes.

Primary guidelines for his better outcome

- allow him more liquids and maintain hydration
- ear drops as ciprofloxacin or others as per his ENT specialist advise
- prescription of azithromycin or else antibiotic to cure the infection
