If the huge bump was formed just after you fell then it s hematoma at the site (Otherwise it is abcess)and it will regress in itself however if it was increasing in size, pain intensity and was interfering with your daily activities then you have to do Doppler ultrasound of the area and consult orthopedic surgeon. All that you have to do is to follow RICE that is reclining... don t sit or sleep on the bump site, apply ice pack if severe pain with something intervening, Apply elastic compression bandage over the site.
