What Causes A Large Bruise On The Upper Thigh?
I suffered some serious bruising on my upper thigh from a tobogganing incident. The size of the bruise matches the size of my hand. Is it safe to fly? Should I be concerned about blood clots (it does not run in my family and I have never suffered from blood clots)?

Regarding your bruise at the upper thigh following an incident I am suggesting you see an ER physician for adequate dressing of the wound and some drug prescription
In regards to whether you will develop a blood clot definitely no it is not develop it in spite it runs in your family except when the wound is deep
