What Causes A Knot At The Back Of The Head?
I have had breast cancer and went thru chemo in 2012. In the last couple of days I have a knot come up on the back of my head, at the base of my skull on the left side. I have been going thru a lot so I thought at first it was stress but it hasn t gone away in several days. It is tender to touch and you can feel the knot. Should I be overly concerned?

This is most likely a benign infected sebaceous cyst and nothing really worrisome but you should have a doctor look at it in case you need a course of antibiotics
