Hi I was diagnosd with hpv a few years ago but never went for treatment. I was not happy with the results the doctor gave me because i did not have multiple sex partners. Recently i found a huge lump on the outside of my vulva yet it feels like a muscle that was stretched it hurts and swllen as well as extremely painfull. I have light spotting after sex and long after my monthly period. I have abdominal pain, itching and my skin on my vagina is very dry and after a week or so i pull of the dry skin which looks like fish scales. Myself and my husband are one anothers only sexual partners. There are still 2 or 3 warts between my labia but its not bothering me at all. Please help
Huge lump outside the vagina may be indicative of skin cysts, Bartholin's cysts, polyp or abscess. You have history of having HPV infection and never got treatment done. HPV is also a risk factor for cancer. It is not usually possible to feel warts inside the vagina, but it is possible to notice growths just outside the vaginal opening.
You are suggested to get clinically examined by a gynecologist. Your treating doctor will recommend a few routine blood and urine tests, imaging tests or biopsy if required. Let all the tests and investigations done to detect the pathology causing you discomfort so that treatment can be started at the earliest.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
