What Causes A Hard Lump On The Left Wrist?

I have a hard lump that has come up on the side of my left wrist in the last two months that does not appear to be a cist, it is hard and does not move around. What do you think it is and how do I cure it? It is about the size of a pea. Could it be a bone spur and how do I cure it?
