What Causes A Hard Lump On The Collarbone With Painful Bumps On The Armpits?

My 16 year old daughter developed small hard lump on her left collarbone a few months ago which was X-rayed and nothing unusual was detected the lump is still there. A couple of days ago she discovered a soft squishy type mass above her collarbone toward her shoulder. In the past she has also had painful lumps that come and go in both her armpits. What could be causing this.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

I think it can be an infection causing it. Also, the lymph nodes are as a result of the skin infection she is having.

She can go to a surgeon to drain the infection and probably antibiotics are needed.

Go to the doctor immediately.

Hope I have answered the question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Olgeta Xhufka,
