What Causes A Hard Lump Inside The Cheek Along The Jawline?

I have a tender lump the size of a marble on my lower right cheek jaw area. I can feel it inside and outside of my mouth. My dentist took x-rays. It is not an absessed tooth. Could it be a cysts, stone, or tumor of some kind? What kind of doctor should I be seeing?

Hi..
Welcome to HEALTHCARE MAGIC..

I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..

As per your complain it seems that a lump on lower right cheek/jaw area that can be felt inside as well as outside which is not diagnosed as an abscessed tooth can be due to causes swollen salivary gland while can also be due to bone cyst or benign muscle tumour..

I would suggest you to consult an Oral Physician and get evaluated and an x-ray or MRI scan of the area can help in diagnosis and treatment can be done accordingly.

An appropriate treatment can be instilled only after the exact cause of the swelling is diagnosed..

Hope this information helps..

Thanks and regards.
