What Causes A Grey Rash From The Neck To The Shoulder?
Mom is currently living in a nursing home because of a severe stroke. Her left side is paralyzed. Five days ago a rash started appearing on the left side of her neck. In the last day the rash has gone to the shoulder, upper breast area as well as ear. The ear is swollen big time. The skin has also turned a grayish color. There are also thin scabs that have drainage. What kind of rash could this be? Thanks Regina

I really appreciate your concern, it may be hypersensitivity reaction and it is bit difficult to find out the cause, but it can be well managed with antihistamine like Hydroxyzine 10 mg three times in day, hope this information helps.
