What Causes A Feeling Of Skipped Heartbeats, Fatigue And Nausea?

Hi, 10 years ago, when I was pregnant for my 4th child (I am now 43) I had what I thought were skipped heart beats. I went to my doctor, who then had me wear a Haltor monitor for 24 hrs, and I also had an ultrasound. They said that I was not having skipped beats, but a tiny beat followed up with a very hard beat. Since my heart looked good and I wasn t TOO bothered by it... I just ignored it. After my son was born, it would happen here and there, but nothing too troublesome. Well.... about 5-6 weeks ago, they began again.... and this time MUCH worse. I have since been to see a doctor, who sent me for blood work, which all came back in normal ranges, and a 24 hr haltor monitor. If I had to guess these missed beat feeling episodes are happening on average... 4- 10 times a minute... causing me to be VERY tired, light headed, somewhat out of breath. WHen the BIG beat hits it feels like blood is rushing to my head. I overall don t feel well. I have made these points to my doctor and he didn t seem to care much... in fact he kept saying things about a racing heart, which I corrected, but he didn t seem to care. I m now waiting for the results of the Haltor monitor and have messaged my doctor to see if they could speed the results up, but no response from him. I guess what I m asking .. is am I doing damage to my heart letting it beat so oddly so often? Am I making myself prone to a stroke? I would rather wait for the results of the monitor which should show just how often these beats are occuring, and NOT go to the ER, but am I waiting too long? Thank you
