Hello - I was bitten by a dog who was appropriately vaccinated for rabies - I immediately sought medical attention - given a total of six (6) stitches, a tetnus shot and some antibiotics. A week later, I was told the area had become infected. I was given an antibiotic shot and given different medication - two of the stitches were removed. Now, there is a puss forming, the scar has gone numb and itches. What can this be?
