I just noticed a perfect round very dark bruise on my left lower abdonim that has a white bump in the center and there is a dark black or purple dot in the center of the bump. I have no idea where this came from. It doesn t hurt at all. Please advise if I should go see a doctor or go to a clinic.

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

* The dark bruise on the left lower abdomen with a white bump indicates possible sebaceous cyst condition.

* Needs to check up with your primary care physician for basic evaluation and if he or she thinks so there may be a requirement of reference to consultant surgeon for excision of the same.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
