What Causes A Crust Like Scab In The Nose?
My boyfriend had impetego about 2 weeks ago, I know have a crust like scab in my nose it s yellow like crust and kind of sticky I m now convinced I have it. Would it hit the inside of my nose first? Oh and my left gland on my throat is now swollen and sore. I haven t had strep which I know impetego is a part of, but it almost feels like strep but my throat doesn t hurt. I have some of the ointment they gave him and I have some clindamycin left over would that work?

In my opinion you should clean the area with sterile water then with spirit (it may cause a burning sensation, to avoid it apply some xylocain 4%) and apply neosporin H ointment on the lesion.
Add some antibiotic if the gland persist
