General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,
Thanks for posting in HCM.
I understand your concern.
Well, change in menstrual pattern could be due to following:
1. Emotional imbalances due to anxiety or apprehension.
2. Hormonal imbalances caused due to Polycystic Ovarian Disease (PCOD).
Since you appear to sexually active and eager to conceive, kindly leave your apprehension behind. Relax, eat healthy and let that happen. That should solve your emotional imbalances.
If it is not happening in about 6 months and the pattern is irregular, get an ultrasound abodomen done along with FSH, LH and Prolactin levels in blood.
Kindly visit Gynecologist for opinion and further management.
Hope the information provided is clear.
All the best.
