What Causes A Bump On The Head With Headache?

I have got bump on my head suddenly followed by headache . I got hurt on last Sunday on my head. I was fine till Tuesday night. From Tuesday night i had headache. Then on Wensday night i realize that i have little bump behind my right side ear and i have headache . I noticed one little rash on my forhead and on my right eye. I noticed redness on my head where I got hurt on Sunday. My doctor said its Shingles . I took antibiotic . But then suddenly i g Have headache and after few minutes i head big bump behind my right ear. Headache was gone but that bump/lump is bothering me. I have on and of pain. I took 2 tylenol at10:30 eastern time. In morning i took two Advil given by a friend . Is it serious ? Should i go to emergency or wait till morning . Ni have no dizziness .

Hello Dear. If you are not having symptoms like vomiting, giddiness, blurring of vision then do not worry. the bump may not be anything serious. Either it can be a small hematoma due to trauma or it can be some infection like shingles as your doctor mentioned.

Do not worry. Take the antibiotics for the prescribed number of days and then go for a follow up with your doctor.
