I bumped my shin quiet hard a couple of months ago, bruising had gone but I m left with a lump where the impact was and its still very tender and has a strange feeling sometimes which I can only describe as crackling under the skin, also hurts when i stand or walk for too long sending shooting pains down the top of my foot.

Hi,
Welcome To Healthcare Magic.

I had gone through your question and understand it.

I have seen number of patients with same complain. This pain is present because of your blunt injury which happened 2 months ago.

You should go for an X-Ray of affected shin (AP & Lateral, both views) and share them on healthcare magic to confirm the diagnosis and treatment to resolve your pain.

Hope this information will be helpful to resolve your query and further queries are always welcome.

Wish you good health.
Take Care, Thank You.
