What Causes A Bruise On Left Leg Despite Taking Ibuprofen Caused After Injury?
A horse fell with me 3 days ago and fell on my left leg, leaving swelling and bruising mostly on the inner side of the leg above the knee. Today in that area, I have noticed that if I lay still for a while, there is a burning tingly feeling in the worst of the bruised area. What causes that? Should I be concerned? I have been icing it for about 10 minutes at a time 3 or 4 times a day and taking 600 ibuprofen several times a day. I am 51 years old, 5 5 and 125 lbs and have pretty good health all my life.

you have to give time for the medicine to act .. you are doing the right thing by icing and taking ibuprofen. give it some time of 3-4 days and you will be fine .just do not pop in more than 3 of those tablets in a day that too after a meal. hope you do well
