What Causes A Bright White Spot At The Corner Of The Eye?

The last several weeks I have had a bright white spot in the corner of my left eye. It s not directly on the eye, it s inside my head. If I close my eye and rub the corner of my eye, near my nose, I will see these white circles but this white spot comes with out me rubbing my eye; it s almost like a flash. I m concerned because I m worried it s a cerebrovascular issue.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi dear thanks for writing to healthcare magic, first of all you should consult an opthalmologist to check for any opacity in eye,and a condition called pterygium. Also do not rub your eye frequently as it may cause you infection.
I advise you to consult immediately as your treatment will be on cause bases.
Hope this information helps
Thanks and regards
