What Causes A Blister On The Knee After An Injury?

Hello, I have a question, I scraped my knee and well it looked heeled to me dry like just a developing scar. Today I fell on my knee on carpet, and it hurt when I looked at it looked weird, I touched it and it felt like it has water. I pooped it and water came out like a sort of blister. Is this anything to be concerned will it heel ? It s only hot around it and there is no redness. I struggled about 4 weeks so it could heel I don t want the same thing to happen.

HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

No, it is not concerning, the lesion should heal though it may take a few weeks for this to occur.

The symptoms do not necessarily indicate that any infection is present but to prevent infection you can consider cleaning twice daily with an antiseptic and apply a topical antibiotic as well

The antiseptic and topical antibiotic should be readily available.

I hope this helps
