What Causes UTI,reflex Problem And Fever In 9 Month Baby?
My nephew is 9 months old and has been dignosed with UTI and also reflux problem. Our Urologist has performed Flguration PUV and kept him on antibiotic (oral) for the past 14 days. But since 3 days, he is suffering from fever of about 102 deg. He is now on IV and is being given piczo 8 hourly. Can anyone please tell me what is his condition right now and what went wrong.

Reflux problems has 5 grades depending on severity... It seems patient has got uti because of reflux problem... Depending on grade of uti patient needs medical prophylaxis of uti by antibiotics and in some cases surgery to decrease reflux... So follow urologists advice and he may suggest urosurgens opinion...
