What Causes UTI Along With Blood In Urine?

I have had urine infection with blood in 5 times in 13 months. I bruise easily and these take a long time to heal. My GP thinks it may be a result of low oestrogen, I had a hysterectomy 25 years ago and at 65, what symptoms go with this condition please? I also have hypo thyroid.

Hello and welcome to HCM,
The symptoms of urinary tract infection along with presence of blood in urine required urine examination.
Urine examination will determine presence of infection in urine.
In case infection is present, antibiotic will be required to treat the infection.
Presence of blood indicates either kidney disease or bleeding in the urinary tract.
Easy bruising is a feature of platelet abnormality, abnormality of coagulation factors or vessel wall abnormality.
You need to consult your primary healthcare provider for clinical assessment and relevant investigations.
Hysterectomy or low estrogens are unlikely to cause easy bruisibility.

Thanks and take care
