General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

Your SGOT level is little bit higher than normal range. It is not much higher to indicate any disease progression. It is usual to slightly higher level than normal range at times. Elevation of SGOT level is not only caused by liver diseases. But also increased in heart disease as SGOT is produced both by heart cells and liver cells. Thus you should check other heart enzymes, ECG to rule out heart diseases.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
