What Causes MRSA Symptoms Despite Taking Doxycycline?

I recently finished taking doxycycline (sp?) for MRSA. The Rx was 2x daily for 7 days. This was after taking Mupirocin cream for 3x daily for 10 days. The cream had no effect as I had the Rx filled 3 times. I still have symptoms. Is this expected? Will the MRSA eventually clear up in the next few days? I don t know what results I should expect from taking the oral antibiotic.

I really appreciate your concern, if this is Doxycycline being suggested then it may take some time for exerting clinical effect till then you need to be patience, however this is very effective antibiotic, hope this information helps, take care and have a nice day.
