What Causes Diabetic Comas?

I am a type 1 diabetic on an insulin pump.I have had a few diabetic comas(low bloodsugar).I also have temporal lobe epilepsy for which I had brainsurgery when I was 16.I am 45 years old female,103lbs,5ft.I couldn t remembe what year it was,either 2010 or 2011.It this the start of a problem?

Thanks for posting your query.
Low blood sugars indicate either there is reduction in your food intake or the dosage of insulin is high .
I also advise you to get Serum Creatinine which shows the kidney function as decrease in kidney function also causes low blood sugar.
So I advise you to get the test done and revert back . Also make sure you are eating the right amount of calories. And get your insulin dosage corrected by your doctor.
