I ve been on Vyvanse for 6 years, and Adderall for 2 years. (Not together at the same time Lol) Last month my Dr admitted me to the hospital, while I was in the hospital they did a urine analysis & a drug screen. I knew I didn;t have anything to worry about because I had taken my Adderall the day before because I had to work a night shift. When I got out of the hospital I called my Dr. to get my Adderall refilled & he said that he wouldn t refill it because of my drug screen. I was a little confused because I know that I had taken it the night b4 I was admitted into the hospital. So logically that just doesn t make any sense. My Dr. said it didn t show up in my system. He said that it should take at least 3 days to be completely out of my system. So I guess my question is is there any rational, logical reason as to why Adderall wouldn t have shown up in my system when I had taken it not even 24 hours b4 the drug screen? I ve asked a pharmacist and she even admitted that that was a little weird, and that she had never heard of that happening before.
