What Caused Exploding Pain In Head After Drinking Soda?
i took a sip of soda, and coughed, and all the sudden my head felt like it exploded. i was writhing on the ground for 10 minutes. then i laid down in bead and went to sleep, and when i woke up it went down. its still hurts but not as bad. what happened??

Hi I did review your concern.
For some people soda contains certain substances that can precipitate migraine.I believe you also might have had one attack of migraine.
I would advice you to get evaluated for your headache to rule out other causes and get a MRI brain or a CT scan done if the headache happens again
