What Cause Unusual Nasal Discharge, Eye Redness And Swollen Eyes?

Why would I wake up with drainage coming out of my nose-I thought it was bleeding cuz that s the way it felt til I went to bathroom. Then I go back to bed and wake up with my eye swollen shut. It s really pink on the top part of the white part of my eye not the bottom. There is mold in this house, but we also changed bedrooms around last night and ran air condition (window) with door shut all night.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi
Thank you for asking HCM.
I have gone through your query. Your problem can be due to allergic reaction to molds. Over the counter anti histamines like benadryl will be helpful. If that is not helping then better to go for an examination with ENT specialist. Short course corticosteroids might be needed in such case.
Hope this may help you. Let me know if anything not clear.
Thanks.
