What Cause Sudden Onset Of Seizures?

I was watching a TV show which made me laugh very very hard, this was followed by a mini seizure like event. I leaned back in my chair and started twitching. My wife kept calling my name, I was locked up and could not move, for a moment or two. I finally was able to focus and seem ok now. I am back to normal. What happened?

Regarding your sudden seizure attack following a hard laugh I am suggesting that you have a generalized tonic clonic seizure caused possibly by the following differential diagnosis

Meningitis
Encephalitis

Cerebral trauma
SLE
merabolic disorder
Cerebral tumor
Alcohol withdrawal syndrome
Hepatic disease
Illicit drugs

Please do the following test
CT SCAN
LUMBER PUNCTURE TEST

Please see a neurologist specialist for expert clinical assessment Councelling and drug prescription
