Hi there 2 weeks back I went to a and e with a suspected dislocated thumb (right hand) it wasn t it was badly bruised. The next day the pain was getting worse so I went back to a and e and they said I have damaged some ligaments and they gave my a split which I have been told to keep on for 3 weeks but slowly start writing again and to do the exercises I was given witch I have been doing. but the more I move it, I am in agonising pain that isn t bearable and in the last couple of days I have had the same pain in my left thumb same place and same pain. it feels as if they need to pop out of place to be then put back in place of even broken. I am finding it very hard as it is affecting everyday activities. I do have hypermobility and about 2-3 years ago today I was told by a doctor I am carrying water in my hands. also it doesn t help as I often twitch my thumbs but it just hurts. Sometimes when the pain is really bad the thumb pain goes down my arms and I sometimes end of the floor in pain covering my thumbs crying until the pain goes away. sorry for going on and on but I don t really know what to do and just wondering if you could help please
