General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,
Frequent bowel movements, specially following food, bloating, pain ,& vomiting is a set of complaints that suggest gastroenteritis.
It can be viral,bacterial, amebic.
Viral gastroenteritis recovers within a weeks time.Symptomatic on the counter medicines can be taken, but main thing is to avoid dehydration.Take lot of ORS and light food. Anti emetics like metaclopramide can help for vomiting. Nexpro 40 you are taking takes care of gastric reflux/burning in abdomen.
bacterial / amebic infection needs antibiotic.
*you being recently recovererd from abdominal TB, I would advice you to consult your doctor for choice of medicines/exclude recurance of TB infection again.
Thanks.
