What Can Low White Blood Cells Count And Elevated Liver Enzymes?

My white count is a little low 3.9 and my liver enzymes are slightly elevated. I have no other symptoms except for a fever of 5 days and my abdomen seems distended to me. I was told it is probably viral and give it a few more days. What do you think?

Hello and welcome to HCM,
Elevated liver enzymes are due to damage to the liver cells or hepatocytes.
Damage to hepatocytes can occur due to infections, drugs, toxins or autoimmune diseases.
Thus, other liver function tests also need to be done o know the status of liver functions.
Low white blood cell counts can be due to many reasons like severe infections, bone marrow depression etc.
Thus, consult your primary healthcare provider for clinical assessment and thus treatment.

Thanks and take care
