What Can Cause Weakness In The Legs?

FOR ABOUT TWO YEARS, I HAVE BEEN GRADUALLY LOSING STRENGTH IN MY LEGS UNTIL NOW I AM BARELY ABLE TO WALK. ABOUT TWO MONTHS AGO, MY LEFT ARM DEVELOPED TREMORS. WHAT IS THIS? I AM 80 YEARS OLD AND BEING TREATED FOR BLADDER CANCER, PLUS ARTHRITIS IN MY NECK AND SHOULDERS. THANKS, JESSE

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hi,

Consult a neurologist and get evaluated. A detailed Neuro workup is required to make a diagnosis. We have to think of conditions like Parkinson’s disease and peripheral neuropathy.

You might require an MRI scan to rule out central nervous system causes.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
