Hi,

Most medications for high blood pressure can cause dizziness specially when one gets up from bed or from sitting position. Usually it is related to first dose.

Therefore it is advised to start these medications from low dose and ta take these medicine at night before going to bed, to avoid the risk of dizziness and fall.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr Muhammad Zahir Shah
