What Can Cause Discoloration Of Stool?

Hi Doctor, I would like to know if a discolored stool such as light red could be anything other than blood ...my doctor said I had a virus and I ve had a fever the past day...is it at all possible that my body is flushing out the virus through my urine and stool...as they are the same color

Stool examination test is helpful for diagnosis.
